You can use ANY kind of article that APPLIES the ideas of any philosopher in this unit (it can't just be an explanation, like a wiki type article). You should write about a decent-sized paragraph summing it up briefly and giving your thoughts, especially making connections. Here are a few example pieces - choose one if you'd like:

This article is based on author Rebecca Newberger's book, Plato at the Googleplex. Both the book and this article discuss Plato's lessons for the modern life. The article breaks down the ancient philosopher's beliefs from almost 3,000 years ago into 5 relevant guidelines or statements to follow in order to live a life of fufillment. The guidelines (with brief descriptions) are as follows:

The title of the article I read was "Hume on Religion, part 8: What did he believe?" by Julian Baggini. It discusses whether Hume was agnostic or atheist. The author suggests that he did not come right out as an atheist because it would not have been socially acceptable in his time. He would have have faced a lot of opposition about his ideas from many people. This makes logical sense because to get his ideas to people he needed to be taken seriously and an atheist would not have been taken seriously or seen as legitimate because believing in God was particularly important. It is also thought that maybe his ideas applied to some agnostic beliefs and some to atheist beliefs so he did not consider himself as one or the other. He did not identify as one or the other and felt no need to commit to anything.
